Canada’s Manufacturing Technology Trade Show
The Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CTMS) – also known as CMTS – is the most important event for the manufacturing sector in Canada. The 2025 edition took place from September 29 to October 2 in Toronto and attracted over 9,000 professionals representing various industries.
More than 750 manufacturers and distributors of machines, equipment, and software exhibited across the show floor. The event program featured three dedicated zones: RAPID + TCT, focused on 3D printing and scanning technologies; Smart Manufacturing Experience, centered on automation and digitalization; and Discovery Zone, designed for start-ups and young companies. Visitors could also attend over 40 sessions and panel discussions, addressing new directions in manufacturing development.
Otinus in Toronto
For the first time, we had the opportunity to present Otinus at the CTMS trade fair in Toronto. We prepared a booth showcasing modern metalworking solutions tailored to both large industrial plants and smaller enterprises.
Our press brakes and guillotine shears attracted significant interest, particularly from companies seeking reliable machines at a reasonable price. Live demonstrations allowed visitors to assess the precision and speed of the equipment and to speak directly with our specialists about available configuration options.
Discussions with Canadian entrepreneurs confirmed that this market places strong emphasis on the integration of digital technologies and production automation. For this reason, in addition to machines, we also presented software solutions and monitoring systems that support effective production management.
Many companies expressed interest in cooperation, opening new perspectives for expansion in the North American market.
Summary and future plans
Participation in CTMS 2025 proved to be an inspiring experience. The scale of innovation, the rich program, and numerous conversations with industry professionals reaffirmed our belief that the sector’s development is clearly moving toward digitalization, automation, and sustainable manufacturing.
